Helen Evans Home is licensed by California Department of Public Health (CDPH) as an Intermediate Care Facility for Developmentally Disabled (ICF-DD). We are Medi-Cal funded but we also take private pay.

At Helen Evans Home we provide 24-hour nursing care and offer a wide range of support services all contracted with reputable agencies or consultants:

• Laboratory Services

Our internal team of professionals includes:

• Licensed Vocational Nurses
• Certified Nurse Assistants
• Registered Nurses
• Director of Nurses
• Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (Program Director)

Our Director of Nurses and Program Director works closely with our team of consultants, Regional Center Case Managers, and DCFS Social Workers to help establish an appropriate health care/education plan for all clients. The Interdisciplinary Program Plan (IPP) meetings held regularly also welcome the Parents/Guardians to be a part of their loved ones’ educational and health care planning.

We utilize a variety of community hospitals and specialists to add to the comprehensive medical care of each client and provide them with transportation to and from medical appointments. Experienced staff and drivers accompany them at all times.
